Before signing up for a course, we invite you to read carefully our registration policies. Each class requires a minimum of 5 participants and is limited to 10 participants maximum. Therefore, we recommend our students to register early to save a seat in their class of choice! By signing up for a course, participants accept our school policies. NO EXCEPTIONS will be granted!     In this seventh level of French, we will focus on sports and health. Upon completion of this level, we will be able to register and join a gym, talk about our favorite sports, leisure activities, healthy lifestyles and food diet, make an appointment at the doctor’s or the dentist’s, and buy prescription drugs at a local pharmacy. We will be exploring the French legal system, human rights and the nature of the police institution.     LE PRIX GONCOURT 2019 SERA ATTRIBUÉ LE LUNDI 4 NOVEMBRE

    Les quatre auteurs finalistes en lice pour le prix Goncourt 2019 ont été officiellement annoncés ce dimanche 27 octobre au Grand Hôtel de Cabourg (Calvados). C'est au Grand Hôtel que Proust a rédigé une grande partie de A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs, le 2e tome d'A la recherche du temps perdu, récompensé par le prix Goncourt en 1919. Le Grand Hôtel est présent dans son oeuvre sous le nom de Grand Hôtel de Balbec. Parmi eux figure la romancière belge Amélie Nothomb, dont le roman Soif (Albin Michel) caracole en tête des meilleures ventes de livres depuis plusieurs semaines. Amélie Nothomb devra se confronter avec Jean-Luc Coatalem (La part du fils, Stock), Jean-Paul Dubois (Tous les hommes n'habitent pas le monde de la même façon, L'Olivier) et Olivier Rolin (Extérieur monde, Gallimard). Le prix littéraire sera remis le lundi 4 novembre.
